I'm blown away by how such a small bowl can deliver a huge smooth hit.

Besides a cooling stand for the Simrell, the tray to unload the abv is needed. I have a container for abv, but I like to see the doneness after each session. Instead of dumping in the container and guessing which abv it is, I dump it in the cooling stand tray with the tool to be able to adjust my technique based on color.

Ive just received my Hydro and I have to say I'm impressed. It gives a very tasty cloudy hit, only tried it once so far. It takes a little longer to heat but that means it retains the heat longer so the slightly bigger bowl is fully baked in one heat just stopping at the 2nd click. I used a YLL 3. At 80 watt but when placed in the heater that dropped to 65watt. Cant say exactly how long the heat up was Im guessing about 50 seconds, I stopped immediately after the 2nd click, grabbed a rig and popped it in and ripped. Wow first pull was very tasty and produced a dense milky cloud. I then had time for a 2nd and a 3rd go from a single heating. This will definitely be placing high on the reach test list. Its a slightly different flavour and hit than the original Ti oven, and I have to admit, the 1st hit i had from the Hydro has got me well and truly medicated, which Im surprised about as I was about to have a tolerance break, as I some how have got used to my other vapes. A must have vape for any DHV enthusiast, Im loving it. Thanks Austyn and the Simrell team for another great vape and for the great customer service.

Apart being really beautiful aesthetically.It sink heat from the Simrell super fast about 15 to 20seconds.

I’ve tried other wood stem makers, nothing compares to simrell.

The XL Walnut MVS is excellent. Craftsmanship and performance is beyond amazing. Can't wait to get the airflow valve and spinning mouthpiece. I highly recommend the XL Walnut MVS.

One of the best T.E.D.’s I’ve used. Flavor is amazing and it gets me where I want to go. Love the simplicity of it and how cool the vapor is.

What can I say, top tier vaporization has been achieved yet again, I found a bit more flavor, and a LOT more airflow, even compared in the vortex/heritage stem it BLASTS. Top tier craftsmanship as always.

What's to say about this tool. It does the job it was meant to do. Works great as a debowler and is almost indispensable as a tool to disassemble/assemble Simrell devices. For that alone - 5 stars

Got this with my new Hydro. It is a nice device for holding/storing and cooling the hot tip of your 'Relli'.

Only thing I'm ever so slightly disappointed is with the finish of the "bowl" portion. Clear milling marks remain in the dugout. Certainly not a show stopper... and it does reflect that these are hand-crafted (albeit CNC assisted) products. So I suppose I could look at it as "device charm and personality". LOL

After waiting an extra week for USPS to deliver it to me (package took and extra tour of California, before being delivered to Phoenix, AZ), I am pretty impressed with this device.

First attempts to use it was with IH on the YLL 3.0. I followed Austyn's recommendation and aligned the depth to the second fin at top of the IH chamber glass, power set to 100% and full 60 second timer. Got some very dark roasted (verge of combustion) AVB. I'll have to perform more science to dial-in IH heating success. Second time used PT 4000 torch and hit outer blue flame tip to the center dimple on the cap, heated to first click. Got some mid-level vapor and AVB was very light golden brown - even after 3 heatings. But the affects were pretty great.

Question though... Should the WPA collar be difficult to remove? Mine seems very tight and I can't loosen it by hand (although I will say my hand-strength isn't what it once was). I don't want to use any tools, for fear of ruining the surfaces. Anyone having this issue? I suppose I could get some leather and wrap it (like when you work on chrome bathroom plumbing) to protect the surface from tool damage.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated

As with my other Relli devices, this is my absolute favorite TED. Austyn's products are top notch, super high quality. The Hydro hits just the way I like it and the oven is just the right size for my needs. I fully recommend any of Simrell's products.

The station pairs perfectly with all of the Simrell's herb vaporizers. What makes this outstanding, is that you can easily dial-in you preferred roast.

The Hydro hits like a heavy weight champ. Outstanding performance and couples well with most dab rigs. You can not go wrong because it's a part of Simrell's integrated system.
