Shorty Bog Oak Stem

i've been using this 1 w/a DynaVap tip, cap & mouthpiece & it's great. the Bog Oak wood is beautiful. it's pitch black & very grainy, w/long wavy lines you can feel between your fingers. you can see the grain from pretty far away, depending on how the light hits it. it reminds me of Swamp Ash, only tinier.
it's pretty dense & absorbs heat wonderfully & it doesn't get too hot (like metal). it's got a nice thickness, a little fatter than a normal Dynavap & a hair thicker than a Simrell. in fact, it fits in a Simrell box meant for the Vortex but it's a snug fit. the 2 air holes are much better than 1 & their spacing is just right. the stainless steel lining makes it so easy to clean & both ends have excellent tolerance for keeping the hardware from falling out. even when i bang it off the ashtray, the tip stays in solidly.
if i lost this stem i would definitely buy another 1; i mean, i would be bummed but it's definitely worth it.
