The Hydro is the most versatile TED I've ever owned. First off, I only use Induction Heating, not a Butane Torch. Not only does the Hydro elevate the one-hit extraction slightly above the Classic Simrell Titanium, but it takes the Vortex cooling stem to a whole new level. After one month of intense usage, I have switched the Hydro Heat Exchanger assembly to be used on my Simrell Titanium Vortex Stem and put the Simrell Titanium Heat Exchanger assembly on the Hydro Chamber/WPA. For my usage, they both seem to perform better when switched. I have literally sold all of my other TED after experiencing the perfection that is Simrell.
What can I say about the Hydro its just the best out there . I also have the titanium but that rarely gets a look in now. The design and manufacturing is top draw . I wasn't sure about micro dosing but im loving a full on session is more fun now with a gradual build up. This fella puts a lot of time and effort into his products. Anyone else from the UK there is an import duty of around £40 but its worth it. Looking forward to what he does next. The cooling stand is excellent to.
I’ve had this gallery piece for a while now and have been able to put it through its paces. In real life, it’s just as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The teal colour of the stem highlights the burl grain and really brings it to life. It’s almost as if you’re gazing at the ripples of the ocean. The design is simply classically beautiful. I thought long and hard about whether to make this investment.
But I don’t regret it. The three heating modes – convection, conduction and hybrid – are really noticeably different and produce completely distinct vaping experiences. What stands out, however, is that they taste excellent every time. And they produce very large clouds. Cleaning is also really simple; you actually only need a Q-tip, some isopropyl alcohol and a tissue or an ISO wipe.
The two Clickdisks are calibrated so that you can actually choose between High Temp and Low Temp. All in all, a beautiful piece. As Simrell devices aren’t generally cheap, I thought I’d buy one straight from the gallery. That way, I not only get the functionality but also an exceptional limited-edition piece that I can enjoy looking at. It’s well worth snapping one up and securing one of these extraordinary pieces.
I’ve purchased the attachments to throw all my other heaters on because this stem works so well. I love the look and the wooden sleeve where the finger naturally sit is a great addition.
Not only is the Simrell a top tier vaping experience, but it does so while looking like a precious objet d'art. It is beyond rare to find a better example of form following function than The Simrell Titanium. Jony Ive level design brilliance.
