About the anodized finish

The color on an anodized piece is a hard oxide layer grown into the surface of the titanium, harder than the bare metal underneath, and it holds up well to everyday use. Like any finish, it can show light scratches over time where metal rubs against metal, most often where the piece sits in a cooling stand or cooling station. That is normal wear from use and part of how each piece ages.
