I'll start out by saying this is clearly a very high quality piece and also great looking. For me, the texture level is way too high - it's similar to 40 grit (or lower) sandpaper, or skateboard grip tape. It's not necessarily uncomfortable to hold, but not what I'm looking for when the rest of the device is so sleek, smooth, and nice to the touch.
It also pulls at fabric if you put it in your pocket, and it doesn't play very well with the copilot clip. You can't really use the Copilot to clip to clothing since the sleeve is so grippy, and it leaves scratches on the clip itself. Not the end of the world, but if I had known it was so roughly textured I would have selected a different grip when I ordered my relly in the builder.
I'm giving it four stars here because if you are looking for a sandpaper feel and don't use a copilot clip, it's probably perfect. Especially if you do your sessions with your hands coated in olive oil or something. For me, it's more like a 2/5 on looks alone, and I will be getting some other sleeve unless this grows on me. Austyn I think you should include some additional description on the product page about how crazy grippy this thing is. Hopefully this review will help someone else who might be considering this.
