I bought my first Simrell a few years ago when the only device available at that time was the Titanium Vortex. Compared to other Dynavap pieces, I liked the look and figured it would last because it is titanium. This was my first Dynavap-based stem and I did not take to it right away. I went on a spree of trying devices: Firefly 2, Ghost MV1, Pax, etc, etc - basically, all electronicly heated devices.
When the wand was released, I decided to try the Vortex again with induction heating. Since switching to induction heating with the wand, I have never looked back. The real OG is what I use daily now and I prefer this to any other manner of consumption. If wondering, I pair the Vortex with a captive cap, stainless tip and titanium screens. It is truly a perfect combination for me.
I reached out to support to see if they were making any more OG Vortex units and they told me that they were on the way. Sure enough, they released the sandblasted version. Of course, I bought one and love the finish and look just as must as my trusty OG. And, I even got it on sale!! (did not expect that)
Perfectly engineered piece and the best of its' kind, in my opinion.
