This airflow valve was a must have for me. I mainly use it when running things through a water piece. So far, it works great with all my Simrell Heritage and Dynavap stems. I like to either close it completely or leave it a bit open.
Brand new DHV here. I did a lot of research before ordering. There are a lot of options in this space. After all the countless hours of reading reviews and watching videos I’m I’m very happy with the choice I made with going with a simrell. I am officially a life long customer! Great job guys !!
I all ready own the simrell but decided to get the Hydro. Wow what a well thought out bit of kit. Austin what you keep producing are works of art. Since purchasing the Hydro noting really gets a look in. Used with my baller bubbler its just the best . I know on you video with sneaky Pete you sort of mentioned more geared for people that are farely new to dry herb vaping. Well I've been smoking then vaping since the late 70s and I love the Hydro. It really is that easy to use. I watched the video with sneaky Pete and Aystyn once and that was it , nothing I need to read it just started vaping Couldn't get why I would micro dose but I really enjoy . Instead of getting nutted on a few joints I now gradually build up micro dosing , enjoying the flavours of the herb. I use the YLL set on 70 for 60 seconds.
Just a heads up for anyone who uses the YLL. Yesterday a bit of wrapping come off one of the batteries. When I tried to insert the battery it sparked and caught fire . Don't use the battery if a bit of wrapping comes off. Hope it was OK to warn others as I belive a lot use the YLL heater.
If your buying from the UK its around £40 extra for customs but worth every penny .

The Hydro is the most versatile TED I've ever owned. First off, I only use Induction Heating, not a Butane Torch. Not only does the Hydro elevate the one-hit extraction slightly above the Classic Simrell Titanium, but it takes the Vortex cooling stem to a whole new level. After one month of intense usage, I have switched the Hydro Heat Exchanger assembly to be used on my Simrell Titanium Vortex Stem and put the Simrell Titanium Heat Exchanger assembly on the Hydro Chamber/WPA. For my usage, they both seem to perform better when switched. I have literally sold all of my other TED after experiencing the perfection that is Simrell.
What can I say about the Hydro its just the best out there . I also have the titanium but that rarely gets a look in now. The design and manufacturing is top draw . I wasn't sure about micro dosing but im loving a full on session is more fun now with a gradual build up. This fella puts a lot of time and effort into his products. Anyone else from the UK there is an import duty of around £40 but its worth it. Looking forward to what he does next. The cooling stand is excellent to.
